The Blood Sugar Revolution was created to help you get closer to where you want to be with your mindset, symptoms, labs, and relationship with food. We do this by focusing on improving blood sugar, addressing nutrient deficiencies, supporting gut health, and lowering inflammation. We do this by giving you a personalized roadmap, community support, coaching, and knowledge. The result will be possible weight loss (if that's what you desire), better insulin response, a decrease in inflammation, better sleep, and more energy.

Who is this program for?

Who is the program not for?

Those with uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes on multiple medications. You require more delicate one-on-one care and attention. This is also not for those with Autoimmune Type 1.

 

What does it entail?

I wanted to create a program where you receive the most support in real-time. There are 2 tracks:

 

Track 1 - For an additional fee, you will obtain a Continuous Glucose Monitor (at a discount) and wear it for at least 1 month and I will help you interpret the results and make real-time adjustments to your diet. These tweaks will help you lower your Hemoglobin A1c and improve insulin sensitivity. CGM cost is $167.20 for 1 month or $151.20 per month for 3 months. (Or, if you have a doctor that will write a prescription for a CGM and your insurance will cover it, that is an excellent way to follow along. But sadly, most insurance companies don't allow CGMs for those who are not diabetic. But do ask!)

Track 2 - You will follow the meal plans and program guidelines, while also keeping a detailed food journal in My Fitness Pal (free version) and share your food journal with just me (privately). I will guide your choices and help you reach your health goals without the glucose monitor.

  • Everyone will receive a 2-week meal plan with an additional packet of dozens of recipes. The recipes are all gluten-free, dairy-free options and low in sugar and simple carbohydrates. If you have additional food intolerances, please alert me so I can make adjustments.
  • Weekly Live (recorded) webinars on the topic of the week. Topics include building healthy meals, hitting the right macros for you, midlife challenges through peri- and menopause, and addressing blood sugar problems like night-waking, cravings, and blood sugar spikes and dips. We'll also cover sleep tips, exercise tips, weight training exercises, and stress management.
  • Weekly food journal or blood sugar review and guidance. I will monitor either your blood sugar results and/or your food journal to make adjustments to help you reach your goals.
  • For 3 months, I will personally guide your health and provide support along the way via email and weekly check-ins. You can join me live each week or send in questions ahead of time and I will address them. All webinars will be recorded and sent out.
  • Everyone will receive my 15-page ebook on blood sugar management.

What does it cost?

The 3-Month Blood Sugar Revolution is $399 per person. The cost of the CGM is extra and noted above. This is the lowest price I have ever done for a 3-month program that entails this much support and guidance, but I am truly committed to trying to help everyone achieve better health. Space is limited because I want to give you the most attention to help you reach your goals.

We begin again in the fall. Once you sign up, I will reach out to send Health History forms and links to buy the CGM if you choose to.

FAQs:

Does wearing a CGM hurt? No, the insertion is painless and you don't feel anything. It's a tiny filament in the interstitial fluid under your skin. The sensor is placed on the back of your upper arm - the fattiest part. You'll also receive a protective patch to go over the sensor which helps keep it in place and reduce the risk of it snagging on anything. I've worn them for several months and never had an issue with the sensor or the patch.

How does a CGM work? It measures your blood glucose in real-time. You use your smartphone to scan the reader and provide your data. You can track your meals, exercise, and sleep and see how your body is responding. Then, you can make adjustments to your diet or lifestyle to prevent future blood sugar spikes. The CGM lasts for 2 weeks and then you remove it and apply the next one. You'll use this device to track trends and see where you can make adjustments.

Do I have to wear one to join this program? No, you definitely do not. But you will be asked to keep a detailed food journal so we can track your intake and macros and make sure you are eating the right amounts and types of foods for your body.
