This is one of my all-time favorite appetizers that I can enjoy right from my summer garden. Impress your guests with this simple salad.


2 beefsteak or large Roma tomatoes

1 small ball of buffalo mozzarella, sliced

Handful of basil leaves

Drizzle of Balsamic vinegar & Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Sea salt & black pepper


1. Cut a large beefsteak or Roma tomato into slices.

2. Add a slice of buffalo mozzarella and a few basil leaves on top of tomato slices.

3. Drizzle with a good, aged Balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.

4. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.
